Every story gets a seat.

One Page Forums bring people from the same community into one room to share what they’re living through, listen to each other and talk it through. We write down what we hear on a single page, and we see it through.

Ask for a seat
Every seat goes to someone the question touches. One is kept for you.

From a story in your community to the people who can act

  1. You raise your hand.Tell us you’d like to take part, and what’s happening where you live.
  2. We gather the room.We bring together people living with the same issue.
  3. We listen, then write. We turn what people say into a single, clear page.
  4. We see it through. We take the page to the people who can act on it, and keep it in our Library for anyone to read.

How we run the room

Every forum keeps the same five rules, whoever is in the room.

  • One question per room. Each forum works on a single question.
  • Your experience is evidence. You don’t need statistics or a title.
  • Everyone speaks once before anyone speaks twice.
  • We write down what was said, not what we hoped to hear.
  • Your name goes on the page only if you say yes.

Three ways into the conversation

In person, in an inclusive space, or online from wherever you are.

Ask for a seat

Tell us a little about yourself and the issues you care about. When we plan a forum on one of them, we’ll be in touch.
